LÓBULO is an independent artistic project created and led by Maria Ester.

I produce, manage and develop art in its multiple forms of cultural expression. I connect languages such as music, image, fashion, events, communication and experiences within a single creative practice guided by an authorial vision.

LÓBULO is not a physical space, nor a record label, nor a collective. It is an independent structure for creation, production and cultural articulation. A concept that uses production in order to exist.

Projects emerge from direct experience within independent culture, from listening, coexistence and the real movement of the scene. Each work is built according to its own needs, without predefined formulas.

Beyond cultural production, LÓBULO develops pieces, collections and products that expand the identity of projects beyond stages and events. Merch is also part of the artistic language and contributes to the sustainability of the work.

All practice is guided by creative autonomy, careful processes and commitment to independent networks. Making art in Brazil requires risk, continuity and adaptation. LÓBULO exists through a combination of self funded resources, partnerships and direct support from artists and the public.

More than producing projects, LÓBULO creates conditions for them to exist, circulate and remain alive.

Be movement. Keep independent art alive.
